Who was the Inventor Air Conditioner

The air conditioner was developed by Dr. John Gorrie (1803-1855), an American physician, in Apalachicola, Florida. In his training there during the 1830s, Dr. Gorrie constructed an ice-making device which basically blew air over a bucket of ice to cool down the hospital rooms of patients being affected by malaria as well as yellow fever.
